Kaylee took her first steps on April 28th (so at 11 months and 4 days old). It wasn't long and she was off. She figured the walking thing out and was done with crawling. Well, along with walking, comes the scrapes and scratches. She runs into things occasionally, has fallen in the bath tub, and fell in the gravel. She was playing outside with my sister and she was squatting down playing in the dirt. She decided to stand up and start walking. Shauna was right there, but Kaylee went face first into the gravel. It scratched her forehead and nose and looked a lot worse than it was. Of course, Shauna felt awful and will probably hate me for posting this.
But, Kaylee quickly forgot and was back outside with Aunt Shauna just a little while later!
