The weekend following our Georgia Vacation, we went to St. Johns to help brand cattle. It was at the end of April, but I am a little slow in getting the pictures posted. Kaylee saw some cookies sitting on top of the fireplace at Grandma and Grandpa's house. She helped herself and enjoyed it quite a bit!

We were trying to find a way to keep Kaylee busy during branding. She wasn't quite walking yet (but started just 3 days later). We tried putting her in the walker...

...and then tried putting her in the back of the trailer. She found a rock that was tasty. She wanted to play in the dirt.

The trailer worked for a little while. We put the walker and some toys in it but she still managed to get into mischief.

Kaylee's cousin, Jonathan, was having fun being a cowboy and playing with sticks.

The calves that had to be branded.
Jacob, Kris, and Sam were 3 of the hard workers. Sam and Jake are my cousins. It was Jake's second time helping and he had fun. Sam was a little unsure of what to think about the whole process but was still a hard worker.
Grandma decided to try and keep Jonathan and Kaylee in the little shade that was available. They had fun playing with Grandma in the dirt.
Kaylee was worn out and Grandma took good care of her!
Kris and Kaylee had a contest who could get the dirtiest. I'm not sure you can really tell from this picture just how dirty they were. Kris' teeth were covered in dirt as was the rest of him. Kaylee took the little play shovels and was trying hard to cover every inch of herself in the dirt. They had fun, made memories, and were exhausted by the end of the day but still had smiles on their faces!
