It has been a long time since Kris or I have been to the zoo. Zoo Atlanta is a smaller zoo than the Phoenix Zoo but it still took us a good part of the day to see everything. The zoo was probably Kaylee's favorite activity that we did. She love animals and loves being outside. The weather was cool for the girls but perfect for us. We had a good time. I have a ton of pictures of the animals and I really had to refrain from putting lots more pictures in.

Kaylee made it through most of the day at the zoo but just couldn't stay awake any longer... or maybe she didn't like the exhibit that we were in... snakes, reptiles, and more.

Kaylee and Lauren in a nest. It's pretty difficult getting a picture of an 11 month old and an almost 3 year old. They both wouldn't smile or look at the camera at the same time. Oh well, they were having fun.

Kaylee was trying hard to walk and loved to be down. That's probably why she was so worn out at the end of the day!

The zoo has a playground so when we were all done, we let the girls play for a little while. Kaylee loved the slide...
...even without mom going with her!
Lauren wasn't too sure about the slide so I went with both the girls. Before we left, Lauren decided the slide was fun and she could do it herself. Then, she didn't want to leave, of course.
